UNO No Mercy is a card game that has more cards and more complex penalties than an ordinary UNO game<\/a>. UNO Show ’em No Mercy is released by Mattel on November 24, 2023, with 168 cards that include 56 more cards compared to 112 in standard UNO. This game is based on the popular UNO theme<\/a>, and features a limited edition designed for kids, adults, and families<\/a> and includes extra cards, special rules, and tougher penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNO No Mercy Cards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The UNO No Mercy card game has 168 cards, including 56 additional cards<\/a>, special rules, and action cards. In the UNO variant<\/a> “Show ’em No Mercy”, players must swap hands with another player when a “7” or “0” card is used. The Mercy Rule says that if any player gets 25+ cards in their hand, they are out of the game. The game also holds tough action cards<\/a>, such as Skip Everyone, Wild Draw 6, and Wild Draw 10.<\/gwmw><\/gwmw><\/gwmw><\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNO No Mercy Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The game introduces new rules, such as stacking, swapping 7’s, and passing 0’s and new special cards, such as Wild Draw 10 and Discard All. The appreciable change<\/a> is the Mercy Rule, which specifies that if a player has 25 or more cards in their hand, they are out of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stacking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In stacking, If a player plays a Draw Two card,<\/a> the next player can play another Draw Two card to make the next player draw four cards, and so on. Players can pass the penalty (Draw +2, +4, +6, +10) to the next player until the player who can’t play has to take all the cards coupled. Draw cards can be stacked by playing a draw card of the same or richer value than just played cards. However, draw cards do not need to match color or symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Progressive UNO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When a player yells “UNO,” the next player must yell “UNO” before their next turn, and so on. If a player fails to yell “UNO” when they have only one card left, they must draw two cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jump-In<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If a player has the same card as the one on the discard pile, they can play it instantly, even if it’s not their turn. When a “0” card is used, all persons pass their hand to the next player in the current turn order. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven-0 Rule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When a participant uses a Seven or a Zero card, they can make up a new rule that must be accepted for the rest of the game. When a “7” card is played, players must swap hands with an opponent player of their preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swapping 7’s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you play a 7’s card, you must swap your hand with another player of your choice. When a “7” is played, players must switch hands with another player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passing 0’s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

 If any one player plays any zero cards, all players must pass their hand to the next player in the current turn order and when a “0” card is used, all players must pass their hand to the next member in the current turn order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New special cards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Players can use classical action cards to skip, reverse, and draw and can also use new special cards like Wild Draw 10<\/a> and Discard All.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Play UNO No Mercy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the game of UNO Show ’em No Mercy, the objective is to be the first player to discard all the cards in your hand<\/a>. On your turn, you must play one card onto the discard pile. This game can be played with a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 10 players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gameplay<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To play, The dealer shuffles the entire cards deck and gives seven cards face down<\/a> to each player and the remaining cards go face down in the middle of the table as a draw pile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking the Turns<\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The player to the left of the dealer initiates the game by playing a card from their hand that matches the color or symbol of the top card from the remaining cards in the discard pile. For example, if the top card is red 2, you can play any red card or any 2 card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In chance, If any person doesn\u2019t have a matching card to play<\/a>, must draw a card from the draw pile. If the card you draw matches the top card of the discard pile, you can play it true away. Otherwise, you must keep it in your hand and your turn passes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going Out<\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When a player has only one card left, they must yell “UNO” to alert the other players. If they don’t and another player catches them, they must draw two cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the draw pile runs out of cards, reshuffle the discard pile<\/a> (except the top card) and use it as the new draw pile. The game continues clockwise<\/a> (or counterclockwise, based on the order of play) until one person has no cards left in their hand. That player is the winner of the round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first player to play all their cards and empty their hands first is the winner of that round. The game continues until a player reaches a certain score (usually 500) but in the NO Mercy Version 1000 points to win the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the UNO No Mercy version, the winner of a round receives 250 points for each player who is knocked out and the player who makes a player to be rid of instantly earns 250 points. The first player to reach 1,000 points wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An additional way to win the game is to be the last player remaining<\/a>. When you do not have a playable card, you must draw cards from the top of the deck until you get a playable card. When a player wins a round, they receive points based on the cards remaining in their opponent\u2019s hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
