However, it’s important to note that the rule only applies if the card matches the top card and another card hasn’t been placed on the discard pile.

Here’s how the Jump-In rule works:<gwmw style="display:none;"></gwmw>

Normally, players take turns playing cards in a clockwise order.

However, if a player has a card in their hand that matches the color or number of the card played by the former player, they can “jump in” and discard that card regardless of turn.

The player who jumps in must announce it by saying “Jump-In” or a similar phrase to indicate that they are playing out of turn.

Once a player successfully jumps in, the game continues from their turn, and the next player in the original order is skipped.

If multiple players have cards that match the previously played card, the player who jumps in first gets to play their card.<gwmw style="display:none;"></gwmw><gwmw style="display:none;"></gwmw>

Can you Jump in on yourself in Uno?

No, you cannot jump in yourself at UNO. The Jump-In rule in UNO specifically allows players to play a card that matches the top card on the discard pile, even if it is not their turn. However, it does not allow you to play a matching card on your own turn. So, while you cannot jump in on yourself, you can jump in on other players’ turns if you have a matching card.

Disclaimer: It’s important to note that the Jump-In is not an official rule in the UNO card game. However, it is a well-known additional rule that is used for more fun, as players can play cards by cutting off the person who is taking turns.

In the card game UNO, the Jump-In rule allows players to play a card directly that matches the top card in the discard pile, regardless of who’s on the turn.
