All players get 20 or 30 cards, depending on how many people are taking part.\u00a0The cards are arranged face down to make sure no one can see them.\u00a0<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skip Bo Cards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Skip-Bo card game contains&nbsp;two types of cards: numbered cards and Skip-Bo cards. When it&#8217;s their turn, each player draws cards from the deck until they have five cards in their hand. They can choose to <a href=\"https:\/\/miexto.com\/cardgames\/topic\/playing-cards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">play cards<\/a> from the cards in the hand, discard piles, or top of the stockpile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Play Proceeds<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When a turn is over, players can&#8217;t play <a href=\"https:\/\/miexto.com\/cardgames\/rules-for-garbage-card-game-or-trash\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2654\">or decide not to play<\/a>, so they add one card from their hand to the discard pile and the order of the discard is not important. If a player draws five cards, they are permitted to continue playing, except for discarding their last card into the discard pile, which will end their turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Player&#8217;s Turn<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On your turn, draw cards from the draw pil<a href=\"https:\/\/miexto.com\/cardgames\/skip-bo-junior-rules-and-instructions\/\">e until you have five in hand<\/a>. You can play cards from your hand, the top of your stockpile, or your discard pile. If you can play all five cards from your hand, draw five more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building Piles<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Players can build up to four piles in the center, starting with a 1 or a Skip-Bo card. Once a pile reaches 12, it is removed, and a new pile can be started. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discard Piles<gwmw style=\"display: none; background-color: transparent;\"><\/gwmw><gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Players can build up to four discard piles to the left of their stockpile. You can place any number of cards in any order in your discard piles but can only play the top card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scoring (Optional)<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"><\/gwmw><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Players may keep score by awarding 5 points for each card remaining in an opponent&#8217;s stockpile and 25 points for winning the game. The first player to reach 500 points will be the winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Winning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first player who manages to <a href=\"https:\/\/miexto.com\/cardgames\/uno-flip-rules-and-instructions\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2035\">play all their cards<\/a> in the corresponding draw pile wins.
