The cards have special action and wild cards, including number cards from 0 to 9 numbers on the corners. The special action cards include skip, reverse, and wild cards like Wild Card, Wild Draw 2, and Wild Draw 4, and in some variations, there are 4 blank cards for custom house rules.

<img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1200" height="800" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" src="https://i0.wp.com/miexto.com/cardgames/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/uno-star-wars-rules-to-play.jpeg?resize=1200%2C800&ssl=1" alt="The card of Force is a wild card that can be played on any card. Now, lay out the remaining cards in a draw pile, and flip over the top card to start a discard pile.

Starting the round

The player to the left of the dealer goes first and plays a card to proceed to play in a clockwise direction to the next person. On all players turns, they must match cards by color, number, or character on the cards to empty their hands, just like in the classic game.

Taking Turns

On a player’s turn, they must place a card from their hand that matches the color or number of the card in play on the head of the discard pile. While the player doesn’t have any matching cards, they must grab a card from the pile to complete the game. However, the player can play the assigned card immediately.

Discarding Cards

The players may choose to play action cards, such as draw two, skip, or reverse, at any time during their turn. These cards can be played regardless of color, but they must match the number of the card on the discard pile.

Going Out

When it appears that a player has just one card remaining in their hand, they must shout “UNO!” If a player fails to say “UNO” and gets caught by another player, they must hand out two cards.

Round Ending

The person who is the first to run out of all their cards wins the round. The winning player receives points according to the cards remaining in the other players’ hands. All number cards are worth their face value, while action cards are worth 20 points and wild cards are worth 50 points.

Scoring and Winning

The game ends when one player finishes scoring 500 points, and the first one to collect the 500 points wins the game. The game is suitable for Star Wars fans of all ages, and it comes in different versions, including Technical Schematics, The Mandalorian, and Collector’s Edition. With its unique gameplay and iconic characters, UNO Star Wars is a must-have for any Star Wars and UNO fan.

FAQs

What is the game UNO about?

UNO is a multi-player card game in which the objective is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in their hand.
