Bad Interviews is a game for adults by Funemployed in which players create a resume and pitch it to the Manager, who offers them a job. In each round, the Manager presents the job to earn and all the other applicants make a resume using Qualification Cards. On their turn, they make a pitch and explain each ridiculous card. Then, the Manager hits them with a trick question. The Manager’s favorite gets the job and the player who earns the most jobs wins the game!

The game begins with a manager and interviewees who draw a job card and a qualification card, respectively. During the game, each participant in the interview tries to convince the Manager and other players why their preposterous qualification makes them the right fit for the position they are applying for.

Setup

To start, the group chooses one player to be the Manager. The Manager will draw a job card, which will contain a job title and a brief description of the job requirements. 

Then, each of the other players will draw a qualification card, which will contain an absurd qualification that they must use to convince the Manager that they are the right fit for the job.

Gameplay

Once the job and qualification cards have been drawn, each player takes turns making their pitch to the Manager. In their pitch, they must explain how their qualification makes them the perfect candidate for the job. They can use humor, creativity, and quick thinking to come up with the most convincing proposal.

Playing Rounds

During each round, the Manager presents the job, while the rest of the players act as applicants and build a resume using Qualification Cards. Each player will take turns making the initial pitch, graciously defining each ridiculous card. 

Then, the Manager hits them with a trick question. The Manager’s favorite applicant gets the job, and the player who earns the most jobs wins.

How To Play Bad Interviews Card Game

To play the game, players must fake it until they get the job they want. The Manager specifies the job to earn, and all the players build a resume using Qualification Cards. Players take turns making their pitch, explaining each card. 

The Manager then asks a trick question, such as “How would having a Cold Black Heart help a News Anchor in their job?” and the performers figure out the answer quickly.

Bad Interviews is a fun card game for adults that you can play with 2 or more people (best friends) and also you can include drinks (only for adults and allow every person their own responsibilities before agree). Each round took less than 10 minutes (when playing with 4 people), but it depends on more players it may take longer to play.

To play Bad Interviews card game all players need to be open-minded and take the game/cards for what it is, and follow the instructions associated with each card. However, this game is for adults and if you remove the “adult cards” you can play with family too. It is only recommended for ages 17 and up.
