Pic Flip Rules & Cards

Pic Flip is a matching card game designed for 2 to 6 players aged 7 and up. The game aspires to connect images, find matches, and take away all your cards. Within the game, you will find 110 cards, with 104 being playing cards and the remaining 6 being cover cards.

Pic Flip Rules

Pic Flip is suitable for players aged 7 and older, even young kids can play it independently. They flip through their cards, find a match, and call it out. The first player to finish getting rid of all the cards wins. The game helps kids practice focus, matching skills, and manual dexterity.

To play Pic Flip, players take turns laying down a card and describing one image on it. Other players flip through their cards to find a matching image and try to play it on the pile. 

The player who laid down the card describes the other picture on their card and asks players to find something related to it, like something that starts with a specific letter. Instead of laying out their cards, players hold and flip through their cards instead of laying them out.

How To Play Pic Flip Card Game

The players flip through their cards, find matches, and get rid of them. Once a match is confirmed, another player announces it, and the search continues.

Components

The game contains 110 cards of 104 playing cards and 6 cover cards, and each playing card has two pictures on it.

Setup

• To establish the Pic Flip deck, select the dealer to shuffle the playing cards and distribute them face-down to all players.
• All the players must hold their cards in their hands and keep them face-down. 
• To form a draw pile, place the cover cards in the center of the playing area on the table.

Gameplay

• To start the play, the first player picks up the top card from the deck and lays it face-up in the center of the playing area.
• The remaining players then go through their cards to find a matching image and try to match it on the pile.
• The person who dealt the card talks about the second image on the card and asks them to find something that’s related to it, like something that starts with a certain letter.
• Then, players hold and flip through their cards instead of laying them out as soon as they identify one match, they announce another and keep searching.

Taking turns:

• The players take turns leaving down a card and expressing one image on it, and the other players look through their cards to find a matching image and try to position it on the pile.
• The player who laid down the card describes the other picture on their card and asks players to find something related to it, like something that starts with a specific letter.

Winning

The winner of the game is the first person who ends up getting rid of all the cards in his hands.
