The players then take turns playing two “Perks” and reading them aloud to the table. After all “Perks” are read, the player to the left of “The Single” starts playing a “Red Flag” onto the player to their left.
The procedure keeps going for all players at that point until all dates have a red flag. The judge then decides which red flag is the least offensive to be in a relationship with. The player who picks the red flag wins and takes it as a point.
Rounds
At the start of each round, one player shows up as the “single” (the judge of the round to decide the winners) while others act as matchmakers. Then, each player plays four “Perk” cards and three “Red Flag” cards.
Taking into consideration what they know about the Single, players pick two “Perks” to create the best date possible for the single, with new fairy tale perks.
Reading Cards
When all Perks are accessed, all player plays a “Red Flag” onto the person to their left, causing some quite significant changes in their characters and personal histories. The other players can then question why the singles is supposed to pick their character over the others.
When a card with a blank in it is played, the player who played the card gets to fill in the blank with anything they want.
Winning the game
To win the game, players must be the first to score seven points. At the end of each round, players discard their hands and draw up to four perks and three red flags. Then, the player on the left from the judge selects a “Red Flag” card to play on one of the players’ dates left.
