Nerdy Red Flags Rules & Cards

Nerdy Red Flags is an expansion pack for the adult party game Red Flags, which aims to bring a touch of nerdiness to your terrible dating prospects. In this game, players use perk cards to come up with the best possible date for “The Single,” (the single is the judge of the round who picks the best date), but other players can introduce red flags to take down other dates.

Nerdy Red Flags Cards

The game expansion introduces new 75 nerdy perks cards and uses all other original game cards by mixing both types of cards to play the game. This expansion pack includes references to popular and classic sci-fi, fantasy, and video-game worlds. Some of the cards included in the pack include “Owns genuine Pokemon”, “Is your preferred Doctor”, and “Looks identical to Jabba the Hutt.”

Nerdy Red Flags Rules

The rules for the Nerdy Red Flags expansion pack are simple: each player begins by taking turns playing two white perk cards to show up for their date. The player that is left to the judge goes and plays a red flag card on the date of the player to his left. 

This continues until all dates have a red flag. The judge looks at all the dates and decides on the least offensive one to be in a relationship with. The player who plays the red card gets to keep that card as a marker for future reference. The round starts once again, and each player has to choose back up to four perks and three red flags.

How to Play Nerdy Red Flags Card Game

The game kicks off with two players picking out perk cards to come up with the optimal date to get selected by the judge. The participants take turns reading their perk cards as they speak, and they pick a red flag card from their hand to play on the other player. 

This continues around the table until all dates have a red flag. The judge then looks at all the dates and selects the least offensive one to be in a relationship with. The player selected wins and takes the red flag as a point for the next round.

Taking Turns

In the game, players take turns playing white perk cards and red flag cards to the player to their left. Each player has to read their perk card aloud, and the other players can decide to play a red flag card on their date. 

The player to the judge’s left plays a red flag card on the date of the player to their left. This process continues until all dates have a red flag.

Matching Cards

The key to winning the game is to match the perfect perk cards to create the best date for “The Single.” Everyone has to be careful when playing red flag cards on other players dates, as it can interfere with their chances of winning.

Winning

The player who has the most red flags at the end of the game wins. The game can be as raunchy or tame as your imaginations allow, making it perfect for a night of fun with friends.
