Simon Swipe is an iconic electronic game that features lights and sounds. It is a fast-paced game that begins with an easy level and progresses to a staggering 16 levels. The game is designed to test players’ memory, reaction time, and pattern recognition skills.
The Simon Swipe Card Game is played in rounds, and the player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins. The Simon Swipe game features the same colors, lights, and sounds as the classic Simon game, in which you respond to the ever-increasing pattern of the light and sound combinations. However, now touch screen technology adds an extra challenging aspect to the game.
Simon Swipe Cards and Components
The Simon Swipe Card Game has 60 cards and three types of cards: color cards, swipe cards, and wild cards. The game also includes matching color cards, 10 regular cards in each of the four colors (total 40), 4 swipe cards in each of the four colors (total 16), and 4 wild cards.
The matching color cards are used to match the color of the previous card in the pattern. The swipe cards are used to swipe in the direction indicated by the arrow on the card, and the wild cards can be used to match any color or direction.
The Rules to Play the Card Game called Swipe (Simon Swipe Rules)
To start the swipe game, flip over the draw deck’s top card to determine the pattern’s first card. During each turn, place a matching color, swipe, or wild card on top of the first card in your deck. When a player plays a matching swipe card, all the other players must draw a card, and if you don’t have a valid card in your hand, you must draw until you can play.
When the player’s turn finishes, they can add another card to the pattern. A round ends when one player has played all their cards. When a round ends, tally the points, and the player to the left shuffles and deals a new hand to them.
When a player reaches 15 points, by counting up the scores of all multiple rounds, the player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins. The result is that no one reaches 15 points after the round ends; in that case, again shuffle the cards and play another round until the play reaches 15 points.
