UNO Extreme Cards Meaning
The UNO Extreme has 112 cards, like regular UNO, where each card in the game has a specific meaning. Here is a brief overview of the different cards in the game:
- Numbered Cards: These cards are numbered from 1 to 9 and come in four different colors (blue, green, red, and yellow). To play them, players must match the color or number of the card on the discard pile.
- Reverse Card: This card reverses the direction of play when a player uses a reverse card.
- Skip Card: This card skips the next player’s turn when a player draws a skip card.
- Hit 2 Card: This card makes the next player hit the launcher button twice.
- Trade Hands Card: This card allows a player to trade their hand with another player.
- Discard All Card: This card lets you discard all cards of the same color as the last card on the discard pile.
- Wild Card: This card can be played on any card of any color when a player plays at the turn of play.
- Wild All Hit Card: The player who plays this card calls a color, and everyone else must hit the launcher button, except the player who played the card.
- Wild Extreme Hit Card: When this card is played, a player is eligible to call any color and then choose a player of his choice in the game to hit.
- Wild Customizable Card: A blank card on which players can write down a custom rule on this card.
- Wild Hit 4 Card: The next player must hit the button four times.
UNO Extreme Rules
UNO Extreme is a version of the Mattel card game UNO that includes a mechanical card launcher and lights and sounds. The UNO Extreme follows similar rules to the classic UNO game. Here are some additional rules specific to UNO Extreme:
- Swap Hands Card: A wild card that can be played on any other card. When played, the player picks an opponent to change hands with. If the opponent has only one card, the player must still say “UNO” or draw two cards.
- Custom Rule Wild Cards: Three blank cards are available before the game starts. Players can write down a custom rule on these cards and use them during gameplay.
- Action Ignored: If the first card flipped is a swap hand or customizable wild card, the action is ignored. The first player can then play any card on it.
- Attack Card: This card can make players discard one to five cards.
How to Play UNO Extreme
To play UNO Extreme, gather all players, sit together, and choose a dealer to shuffle and deal the cards. To set up the game, shuffle the deck of cards and place one card face up in the playing area to start the discard pile. Next, deal seven cards to each player, and put the remaining cards in the card launcher to form a draw pile. Load the card launcher with cards with the remaining cards and attach the front cover.

Starting the Round
The dealer gives each player seven cards, starts the discard pile, and loads the launcher. The round begins, and the person sitting next to the dealer goes first, plays a card, and the play continues clockwise.
Taking Turns
On each players turns, they must match a card from their hand with the card from the launcher card of the discard pile by color, number, or symbol. If any players can’t have a matching card to play, they must take a card from the draw pile.
Drawing and Playing Cards
Whenever a player draws a card, and it is playable, they can play it on the same turn, and the play passes to the next player. When a player has one card left in their hand, they must yell “UNO” before playing their last card. If they fail to do this and get caught by the other players, they will have to hit the Launcher button twice and take the cards from the Launcher.
Round Ending and Next Round
In the game, each round ends when one player has no cards left in their hand or one player discards all his cards. The player who goes out first scores points for the cards left in the other player’s hands, and counts scores by getting cards from all remaining players hands. The game rounds continue to play out until one player reaches 500 points.
Scoring and Winning the Game
In UNO Extreme, the player who can reach a score of 500 points first will win, and the players can gain points by holding cards from their opponent’s hands at the end of each round. The winner is the player who reaches 500 points before the others.
However, it is also possible to keep a running total of the points that each player is caught with at the end of each round. In this case, the winner is the player who has the lowest points when one player reaches 500 points.
Scoring Points
The scoring points are: Numbered cards are worth their face value, and action cards (Reverse, Skip, Hit 2, Trade Hands, Discard All) are worth 20 points each. Wild cards are worth 50 points each, Wild Extreme Hit cards are worth 70 points each, and Wild Hit 4 cards are worth 100 points each.
FAQs
What’s the difference between UNO Attack and UNO Extreme?
UNO Attack, known as UNO Extreme in the United Kingdom and Canada and stylized as UNO Attack, is a variation on the popular Mattel card game UNO. It includes 112 (later versions include 106) cards and a mechanical card launcher.
What are some fun rules for UNO?
When a player plays a seven, the game remains mute till the next seven is being played. When anyone speaks, then he has to draw the card. At UNO time, raise your finger.
Can we put 2 same cards together in UNO?
You can not play Draw 2 on Draw 4 or Wild on Draw 4 Wild, for example. You can not play colors on colors, playing a green 7 on a green 9,. If a player has played two or more Draw 2 card in succession, then the next player needs to draw the combined sum and skip his / her turn UNLESS the player has a Draw 2 to play.
What is UNO flip?
UNO FLIP™ plays like regular UNO®, except there are two sides to the deck of cards: a “light” side and a “dark” side. You start playing with the Light Side, but whenever someone plays a FLIP card, the deck is flipped over as are the cards in your hand now everyone must play off of the Dark Side of the cards.
